262–14 NSW rule: Disapplied or modified provisions

In force

(1)

Despite rule 262–3(1), the following provisions do not apply to an electric scooter—

(a)

rules 245–246,

(b)

rules 250–251,

(c)

rules 256–258,

(d)

rule 288, to the extent it applies to the rider of a bicycle riding on a footpath.

(2)

Rule 300–1 does not apply to a person riding an electric scooter.

(3)

In addition to rule 166, Part 12 also does not apply to an electric scooter parked in an electric scooter parking bay.
