4.11 Development on land within a future underground infrastructure corridor
(1)
This section applies to development—
(a)
on land within a future underground infrastructure corridor, and
(b)
that has an estimated development cost exceeding $200,000, and
(c)
that involves—
(i)
the erection of a building with a height of at least 10m, or
(ii)
an increase in the height of a building so that the building is at least 10m, or
(iii)
the penetration of existing ground to a depth of at least 2m below ground level (existing).
(2)
Development consent must not be granted to development to which this section applies unless the consent authority is satisfied the development is consistent with the underground corridor technical guidelines.
