4.12 Development on land within or adjoining an infrastructure investigation area
This section applies to development—
on land within or directly adjoining an infrastructure investigation area, and
that has an estimated development cost of more than $200,000.
Development consent must not be granted to development to which this section applies unless the consent authority has considered the impact of the development on the delivery of future infrastructure.
In this section—
infrastructure investigation area means land shown as “infrastructure investigation area” on the Infrastructure Investigation Areas Map.
Infrastructure Investigation Areas Map means the State Environmental Planning Policy (Transport and Infrastructure) 2021 Infrastructure Investigation Areas Map.
