Weapons Prohibition Regulation 2017

The holder of a weapons dealer permit must apply to the Commissioner if the holder proposes to change the premises to which the permit relates.

Any such application is to be made in the approved form and accompanied by the fee payable under clause 14 (1) (c) for inspecting the new premises.

After taking into account the same relevant matters as would have to be considered in assessing an application for a weapons dealer permit, the Commissioner may approve or refuse the application.

A refusal may be made on any of the grounds on which an application for a weapons dealer permit may be refused.

If the application is approved, the Commissioner is to issue a replacement permit to give effect to the change of premises to which the permit relates.
