34 Authority conferred by permit on person under 18 years
(1)
A theatrical weapons armourer permit does not operate to confer authority on a person who is less than 18 years old (being a person who is involved in a film, television or theatrical production) to possess and use a prohibited weapon to which the permit relates unless the person is first authorised in writing by the Commissioner to possess and use the weapon concerned.
(2)
Subclause (1) does not apply if the permit concerned relates only to a weapon referred to in clause 3 (1) of Schedule 1 to the Act.
