9 Acting appointments
(1)
Where:
(a)
the Chairman is absent from duty; or
(b)
the position of Chairman is vacant,
the Minister may appoint an
Aboriginal member to act in the place of the Chairman during the period of absence or the vacancy.
(2)
Where a member is absent from duty with leave, the Minister may, if the Authority so requests, appoint a person to act in the place of the member during the period of absence.
