107 Corrupt and illegal practices—time
(1)
A prosecution for any of the offences defined in sections 99 to 104 must be begun within 1 year after the offence is committed.
(2)
The service or execution of process on or against the alleged offender is deemed to be the commencement of the prosecution, unless such service or execution is prevented by some act on the person’s part, in which case the issue of the process is deemed to be the commencement of the proceeding. sch 1 pt 3 ch 14 ch div 3 s 107 amd 1993 No. 70 s 804 sch
