14 Certificate of valuation
Immediately after deciding the value of the animal, the panel must make a certificate (a certificate of valuation) for the animal.
The certificate must be in the approved form.
The approved form must include provision for the panel to state—
the name of each animal valuer forming the panel; and
a description of the animal; and
or attach, any identifying information for the animal used by the panel; and
details of the appropriate method used by each animal valuer forming the panel; and
the value of the animal, as at a date stated in the certificate, decided by the panel; and
the value of the animal, as at the stated date, decided by each animal valuer forming the panel.
The certificate of valuation must—
be signed by both animal valuers forming the panel; and
include a statement by each person signing the certificate that the person’s appointment as an animal valuer has not ended; and
be verified on oath; and
if a requirement has not been made under section 11(1)(d) of either animal valuer forming the panel—be given to the chief executive within 14 days after the completion of the valuation.
The approved form may include provision for the panel to state or attach other information relevant to the valuation.
