15 Horses to be under control
(1)
A person in charge of a horse in a State forest or timber reserve must ensure the horse is under control in the forest or reserve.Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.
(2)
In this section—under control, for a horse, means—
(a)
the horse is controlled by a person using a physical restraint appropriate to restrain the horse that is one of the following types—
(i)
a bridle and rein;
(ii)
a halter;
(iii)
a headstall and lead; or
(b)
the horse is securely tethered to a fixed object; or
(c)
the horse is securely held in an enclosure in the State forest or timber reserve—
(i)
made available for use by the chief executive; or
(ii)
under an authority under an Act.
