90 Damage from adverse natural cause

(1)

A valuation may be amended if—

(a)

because of flood, cyclone or some other adverse natural cause over which the owner had no control, the land has been permanently damaged; and

(b)

the valuer-general considers the damage has changed the land’s value.

(2)

However, an amendment may be made under subsection (1) only if the owner of the land applies to the valuer-general within 6 months after the permanent damage happens.
