121F Process for cancelling appointment
Before acting under section 121E(1)(a), the chief executive must—
give the person a notice (a show cause notice) stating—
that the chief executive intends to cancel the person’s appointment as a duly qualified person (the proposed action); and
the ground for the proposed action; and
an outline of the facts and circumstances forming the basis for the ground for the proposed action; and
that the person may, within 14 days after the notice is given or a longer period agreed to by the chief executive, give the chief executive a written response to the proposed action; and
have regard to any response received under paragraph (a)(iv).
If the chief executive cancels a person’s appointment as a duly qualified person under this subdivision—
the chief executive must give the person an information notice for the decision to cancel the appointment; and
the cancellation takes effect from the day the person is given the information notice.
