The Commissioner must maintain a register of participants.

The register may be maintained by electronic means.

The Commissioner must include the following details in the register in respect of each participant:

the participant's name;

if the participant has been provided with a new identity under the

Program—the participant's new name;

the participant's address;

details of any offences of which the participant has been convicted;

the date on which the person ceases to be a participant.

The Commissioner must also include in the register details of any permission given by the Commissioner under section 18.

The Commissioner must keep in conjunction with the register—

the original of each memorandum of understanding; and

copies of each new birth certificate that is issued under the

Program; and

the original of each permission given by the Commissioner under section 18; and

any documents returned to the Commissioner as a result of a notification under section 16(2).
