4 Establishment of State Witness Protection Program
(1)
The Commissioner must maintain a program, to be known as the
State Witness Protection Program, under which the Commissioner and members who hold or occupy designated positions, arrange or provide protection and other assistance for witnesses.
(2)
That protection and assistance may include things done as a result of powers and functions conferred on the Commissioner under a complementary witness protection law.
