28 Annual report
The Commissioner must keep the Minister informed of the general operations, performance and effectiveness of the Program and, in particular, the exercise of the Commissioner's powers under section 24.
The Minister must, in consultation with the Commissioner, on or before 30 September in each year, prepare a report on the matters referred to in subsection (1) with respect to the year that ended on the preceding 30 June.
The report must be prepared in a manner that does not prejudice the effectiveness or security of the Program.
The Minister must, within six sitting days after completing the report, cause copies to be laid before both Houses of
Parliament.
