14 Diocesan officers appointed by Synod
The Synod may by resolution appoint – an advocate to be standing counsel to the Diocese, who shall be called Church Advocate; and some fit person to be Treasurer of the Diocese, who shall be called Diocesan Treasurer.
Officers appointed under this section shall hold office during the Synod's pleasure.
If while the Synod is not sitting an officer referred to in subsection (1) – dies; resigns his office by notice in writing to the Diocesan Secretary; or fails or becomes unable to act – the Diocesan Council may appoint another person to hold office until the Synod is able to make its own appointment.
