Anglican Church of Australia Constitution Act 1973

There shall continue to be a council called the Diocesan Council which shall be – constituted; with such powers; and subject to such regulations – as the Synod by ordinance provides.

Except as the Synod otherwise provides, the Acts of Synod applicable to the constitution, powers, and regulations of the Diocesan Council in force at the commencement of this Act continue in force.
