7 The Bishop
at the commencement of this Act is the lawful successor in the see of the Diocese of the Lord Bishop of Tasmania appointed by the letters patent referred to in section 6.
The Bishop may summon and hold synods without any royal or other licence, and in particular may summon and hold the synod referred to in section 8.
The Bishop shall have a registrar and maintain a registry.
