Container Refund Scheme Act 2022

The following are specifically authorised for the purposes of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 of the Commonwealth:an agreement entered into under, or for the purposes of, this Act; the negotiating of, or entering into or making of, an agreement under this Act, including the conduct of the parties to such an agreement; conduct authorised, or required, by the terms or conditions of an agreement under this Act; the grant or refusal to grant approval to a container under section 12; a prescribed matter.

Anything authorised by this section is authorised only to the extent that it would otherwise contravene Part IV of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 of the Commonwealth.
