45 Review of operation of Act
The Minister is to cause an independent review of the operation of the scheme, and this Act, to be completed before the 5th anniversary of the commencement of Part 2 of this Act.
As soon as practicable after an independent review is completed under subsection (1), the person who undertakes the independent review is to give the Minister a written report on the outcome of the review.
The Minister is to cause a copy of the report, given to the Minister under subsection (2), to be tabled in each House of Parliament within 10 sitting-days of that House after the report is received by the Minister.
This section does not apply if a committee of either House of Parliament, or a joint committee of both Houses of Parliament, has reviewed the operation of this Act, or has started such a review, after this Act commences and before the 5th anniversary of that commencement.
