32 Powers of authorised officers
An authorised officer – has the powers conferred on authorised officers by this Act; and has power to do all things necessary or convenient to be done to exercise those powers.
However, an appointment or authorisation under section 31 may specify that the appointment or authorisation is subject to conditions or restrictions relating to – the powers that are exercisable by the person appointed or authorised; or when, where and in what circumstances the person may exercise powers.
Also, a person appointed or authorised under section 31 is subject to the directions of the Secretary in exercising powers.
