1 Conflict of interest
A staff member of an accredited body must not hold any financial or other interest that could directly or indirectly compromise the performance of the member's functions.
A staff member of an accredited body must not give an undertaking that could directly or indirectly compromise the performance of the member's functions.
Conflict of interest must be assessed by taking into account, amongst other things, the likelihood that a staff member possessing a particular interest could be influenced, or might appear to be influenced, in the performance of the staff member's responsibilities on a particular matter.
A staff member of an accredited body must notify the State Central Authority if a potential or actual conflict of interest arises.
