34AL Review of amendments made by Crimes Amendment (Non-fatal Strangulation) Act 2023
The Attorney-General must cause a review to be conducted of the operation of—
this Subdivision; and
section 5(2)(ba) of the Family Violence Protection Act 2008.
The review must be commenced no later than 2 years after the commencement of the Crimes Amendment (Non-fatal Strangulation) Act 2023.
The review must be completed no later than 6 months after it commences.
The Attorney-General must cause a copy of the review to be laid before each House of the Parliament no later than 14 sitting days after receiving it.
