Exceptions to offences against section 50E

Current

S. 50J inserted by No. 47/2016 s. 16.

(1)

A does not commit an offence against section 50E(1) if, at the time at which the offence is alleged to have been committed—

(a)

B is A's step-parent; and

(b)

A has not at any time been under B's care, supervision or authority.

(2)

A does not commit an offence against section 50E(1) if B engaged in sexual activity with A when A was under 18 years of age.
