26 How may a charge be levied?

S. 26(1) amended by No. 10/2017 s. 33(10).

(1)

A resolution under this Division levying a charge has no effect until Development Victoria causes notice of the making of the resolution to be published in the Government Gazette and in a newspaper circulating generally throughout Victoria.

(2)

A resolution levying a charge must state what the charge is for, how the charge is calculated, when it is due, on what properties it is levied and who must pay it.
