The Ombudsman Act applies—

as if it were modified so that provisions of the Act relating to the Integrity Commissioner do not apply; and

as if the requirement to give a report under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, section 46 does not apply; and

as if the requirement to observe confidentiality under the Act—

applies to any person performing functions under the Act; but

does not prevent a member of the Ministerial Council making a record of, or divulging or communicating to another member of the Ministerial Council, information acquired by the member in performing functions under the Act; and

with any other modifications that are necessary.
