17A Meaning of primary caregiver and secondary caregiver
(1)
For the purposes of this Division—
(a)
the primary caregiver for a child is—
(i)
in the case of a child yet to be born, the person who is pregnant with the child; or
(ii)
otherwise, the parent of the child who has the principal role of providing care and attention to the child; and
(b)
the secondary caregiver for a child is a spouse, or domestic partner, of a primary caregiver for the child.
(2)
For the purposes of this Division there can only be one primary caregiver for a child at any one time.
