Division 4 sets out procedures in relation to conflicts of interest.
2 Division 4 sets out procedures in relation to conflicts of interest.
The Authority must include in its report of operations under Part 7 of the Financial Management Act 1994 a description of each disclosure of a specific conflict of interest or general conflict of interest made by a director of the Authority in the relevant financial year.
A description under subsection (2) must not contain the following information—
information relating to the personal affairs of a person other than a director of the Authority;
information that is confidential information within the meaning of section 41(4).
Example
A director of the Authority discloses a specific conflict of interest to the board under section 29. The annual report for that financial year states the name of the director and that the director disclosed a specific conflict of interest because the director has a family member who owns property the value of which could be affected by a decision of the Authority. The annual report does not contain the name of the director's family member or identifying details about the family member's property.
