Approval of biodiversity management programme

In force

(1)

The Minister may approve a draft programme submitted under section 72 as a biodiversity management programme or refuse to approve it.

(2)

The Minister must not give approval under subsection (1) unless the Minister —

(a)

is satisfied that the draft programme is consistent with any recovery plan or interim recovery plan that relates to matters dealt with in the draft programme; and

(b)

has had regard to submissions referred to in section 72(2).
