105 Organised events and meetings

(1)

A person must not, without lawful authority, organise, advertise or hold a meeting, function or event on CALM land which is likely to involve or involves the attendance of more than 100 persons.

Penalty: a fine of $2 000.

(2)

The CEO cannot refuse to authorise a person for the purposes of subregulation (1) except on grounds relating to the adverse effects of the meeting, function or event on the environment or other users of the land.
