79 Permits—notice of proposed cancellation
Before cancelling a biosecurity permit, the director‑general must give the permit‑holder written notice stating—
that the director‑general proposes to cancel the permit; and
the grounds for the proposed cancellation; and
that the permit‑holder may, by a stated day that is at least 28 days after the day the notice is given to the permit‑holder, make a submission to the director‑general about the proposed cancellation.
If the permit‑holder makes a submission before the stated day, the director‑general must take the submission into account in deciding whether to cancel the permit.
