32 Temporary staff and consultants

(1)

The commissioner may, on behalf of the Territory—

(a)

employ temporary staff; or

(b)

engage consultants;

for this Act.

(2)

Temporary staff shall be employed on terms and conditions determined from time to time by the electoral commission.

(3)

Consultants shall be engaged on terms and conditions determined from time to time by the electoral commission.

(4)

Nothing in this section in relation to the engagement of consultants is to be taken to give the commissioner or the commission a power to enter into a contract of employment.
