Appointment of officers

(1)

In spite of the Public Service Act 1999, a law of the Territory may make provision for and in relation to the appointment and employment of persons for the purposes of the government of the Territory.

(3)

Nothing in this section shall be deemed to prevent the appointment or employment of persons under the Public Service Act 1999 in its application to the Territory.
