46 Savings—children under Soldiers’ Children Education Scheme
Where a person who had attained the age of 25 years was, immediately before the commencing date, receiving benefits under the Soldiers’ Children Education Scheme prepared by the Commission under regulation 88 of the Repatriation Regulations:
Part VII of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act applies to the person as if the person had not attained the age of 25 years; and
while the person is in receipt of benefits under the Veterans’ Children Education Scheme, as the eligible child of a veteran or the eligible child of a member of the Forces or of a member of a Peacekeeping Force, within the meaning of that Part, Part V of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act applies to and in relation to the person as if the person had not attained the age of 25 years.
