9 Minimum following distance
(1)
The person driving a class 1 heavy vehicle that is an oversize vehicle must drive at least 200m behind another oversize vehicle travelling in front of it, unless the person is—
(a)
driving on—
(i)
a multi-lane road; or
(ii)
a length of road in a built-up area; or
(b)
overtaking.
(2)
In this section—
built-up area has the meaning it has for the purposes of the Road Rules.
