77 Protection work to be carried out
(1)
The owner of land or a building on or in which he or she is carrying out or proposes to carry out building work must, in the prescribed circumstances, protect an adjoining property by carrying out protection works.
(2)
A building certifier must not grant a building permit for building work in the circumstances referred to in subsection (1) unless this Part is complied with.
Maximum penalty: 85 penalty units.
