17 Definitions

In this Part:

excluded offence means:

(a)

an offence for which the criminal record is a spent record; or

(b)

an offence for which:

(i)

a person has been convicted in another jurisdiction; and

(ii) the criminal record would be a spent record had the person been similarly convicted in the Territory; or

(c) an offence that is spent as defined in section 85ZM(2) of the Crimes Act 1914 (Cth);

(d) an offence under the Traffic Act 1987 other than an offence for which the maximum penalty is a term of imprisonment; or

(e)

an offence relating to the parking of a motor vehicle.

offence includes a tax offence.
