112 Compulsory front reflectors on trailers

(1) A front-facing white or yellow reflector must be fitted towards each side of the front of:

(a)

a semi-trailer, except a pole-type trailer; and

(b)

the front cross-bar or bolster of a pole-type trailer; and

(c)

a trailer that is at least 2.2 metres wide.

(2)

Each reflector must have its centre:

(a)

at the same height above ground level; and

(b)

not over 1.5 metres above ground level; and

(c)

not over 400 millimetres from the nearer side of the vehicle.

(3) Additional front-facing reflectors may be fitted to a trailer mentioned in subrule (1) in accordance with rule 113.
