153 Measurement of stationary noise levels

For this Division, the stationary noise level of a motor vehicle is to be measured in accordance with the test method mentioned in the

Roadworthiness Guidelines that are approved by the Ministerial

Council and current at the commencement of this rule.

1 This Part sets out requirements to ensure that Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Compressed

Natural Gas (CNG) fuel systems are safely installed in motor vehicles.

2 This Part also sets out requirements to ensure that an LPG-powered, hydrogen-powered or electric-powered vehicle can be identified by labels on the number plates of the vehicle.
