A reference in an Act or document—
(a)
to the former Act or the Marine Safety Act 1994 is a reference to this Act; and
(b)
to the former board, a member of the former board, the secretary to the former board or the portmaster is a reference to the chief executive; and
(c)
to a vessel (within the meaning of the former Act) is a reference to a ship (within the meaning of this Act).
