244 General options available to court to which child committed for breach by indictable offence
(1)
This section applies if a court orders a child to appear before another court under section 242(3)(a).
(2)
The other court may take the following action—
(a)
for an order other than a conditional release order—any action allowed by section 245;
(b)
for a conditional release order—any action allowed by section 246 or 246A.
(3)
If the other court is the Supreme Court or Childrens Court judge, the proceeding must be heard and decided by a judge sitting without a jury.
