75 Application for use of surveillance device
In the case of a complaint of serious misconduct, an inquiry officer, with the approval of the Chief Commissioner or other person nominated under section 62(3), may apply for a warrant under Part 2 of the Police Powers (Surveillance Devices) Act 2006 as if the inquiry officer were a law enforcement officer within the meaning of that Act and a reference in that Part to a relevant offence were read as a reference to misconduct.
Divisions 2 and 3 of Part 5 of the Police Powers (Surveillance Devices) Act 2006 apply to the Integrity Commission as if the Integrity Commission were a law enforcement agency within the meaning of that Act.
