168 Waiver of fee for transfer of registration

The Registrar is to waive the fee for the transfer of registration if –

the transferee is a person with a disability who has attained the age of 16 years and the transferor is the guardian of that person; or the transferee – is the beneficiary of the vehicle as part of deceased estate; and is exempt from the payment of duty in respect of the transfer under section 199 of the Duties Act 2001; or the transferee is the registered operator of the vehicle that is registered in joint names and the other registered operator is deceased.
