Property loss and damage
123 Property loss and damage
The amount of compensation payable in respect of destruction, damage or loss of wearing apparel, personal effects, a motor vehicle, equipment or other property is the amount the Authority considers reasonable for the indemnification for the destruction, damage or loss.
Despite subregulation (1)—
the amount of compensation payable in respect of destruction, damage or loss of wearing apparel or personal effects must not exceed an amount determined by the Authority from time to time; and
if the member is entitled to reimbursement under any policy of insurance or from any other source, the amount of compensation payable under this regulation is an amount equivalent to any financial loss, related to the destruction, damage or loss, which remains after that reimbursement and is determined reasonable by the Authority.
