28 Application for enrolment as a member

(1)

A person eligible to apply to join a brigade as a general member under regulation 26 or a junior member under regulation 27 may apply to the Authority for that membership.

(2)

An application under subregulation (1) must be in writing and specify—

(a)

the name of the brigade the applicant wishes to join; and

(b)

the category of membership being applied for; and

(c)

details of the proposed member, including their family and given names, home address, postal address, telephone number and email address; and

(d)

details of any relevant medical conditions; and

(e)

details of any current or past membership of brigades.

(3)

An application under subregulation (1) to join a brigade as a member under the age of 18 years (whether as a general member or as a junior member) must be accompanied by the written consent of a parent or guardian of the applicant.
