81 Certiorari may issue, procedure

(1)

The Supreme Court, or a judge thereof, may order the removal into the Supreme Court, by writ of certiorari, of any cause, matter or proceeding pending in the Court, if the Supreme Court or a judge thereof thinks it desirable that the cause, matter or proceeding should be tried in the Supreme Court.

(2)

When any cause, matter or proceeding is so removed into the Supreme Court, the provisions of section 78 apply, as if the cause had been remitted to the Supreme Court under section 76.
