62CA Membership requirements for qualification as eligible political party
For the purposes of this Part, 2 or more political parties cannot rely on the same person as a member for the purpose of qualifying or continuing to qualify as an eligible political party.
If 2 or more political parties purport to rely on the same person as a member for the purpose described in subsection (1), the following provisions apply —
the Electoral Commissioner must, in accordance with the regulations, give the person an opportunity to nominate the political party entitled to rely on the person;
if the person does not nominate a political party, the person cannot be relied on by any of those political parties.
The registration of a political party must not be cancelled because of the operation of this section unless the political party is given an opportunity by the Electoral Commissioner, in accordance with the regulations, to change the person or persons on whom it relies.

62D. Register of political parties, Electoral Commissioner to keep etc.
The Electoral Commissioner is to keep a register containing the names of, and other information and documents related to, political parties registered under this Part.
Subject to this Part, the register is to be kept in the form and way that the Electoral Commissioner considers appropriate.
The register is called the register of political parties.
