50 Decision not to certify, or delay in certifying, reference material

(1)

If the certifying authority decides not to certify a reference material, or to vary the certificate in a way not sought by the applicant, the authority must give written notice of the reasons for its decision to the applicant as soon as practicable.

(2)

If the authority has not granted an application or given notice to the applicant under subregulation (1) within 3 months after receiving the application, the authority must, at the request of the applicant, give written notice to the applicant of the reasons for the delay.
