14 Certifier—road and drainage
(1)
Pathway 1
(a)
Qualifications
Must be registered on the National Engineering Register as a professional engineer with civil engineering listed as an area of practice.
(b)
Experience
No additional experience other than that required for registration in accordance with paragraph (a).
(2)
Pathway 2
(a)
Qualifications
Any of the following—
(i)
degree in civil engineering from an Australian university,
(ii)
registration as a land surveyor under the Surveying and Spatial Information Act 2002 or a qualification that would enable a person to be registered as a land surveyor under that Act.
(b)
Experience
3 years recent relevant practical experience.
