171 Definitions
In this Chapter—
court means a court to which the relevant provision of this Chapter applies and includes (where applicable) an Industrial Local Court Judge.
Judge includes a judge of the Supreme Court, the Land and Environment Court and the Court of Coal Mines Regulation and the President or a judicial member of the Industrial Relations Commission and any other person of a class prescribed by the regulations for the purposes of this definition.
Judge of the Local Court includes—
an Industrial Local Court Judge, and
any other person of a class prescribed by the regulations.
registrar means—
in the case of proceedings before the Local Court, the relevant registrar of the Local Court,
(Repealed)
in the case of proceedings before an Industrial Local Court Judge, the relevant registrar of the Local Court,
(Repealed)
in the case of proceedings before any other court to which Parts 2–4 apply, the person prescribed by the regulations for the purposes of this definition.
A reference to a Judge in Part 4 includes, where applicable, a Judge of the Local Court.
