Environmental Planning and Assessment (Savings, Transitional and Other Provisions) Regulation 2017

In this Part—

amending Act means the Environmental Planning and Assessment and Electoral Legislation Amendment (Planning Panels and Enforcement) Act 2017.

existing local panel means—

an independent hearing and assessment panel constituted by a relevant council, as at 1 September 2017, under section 23I (as in force before the substitution of that section by the amending Act), or

any other panel constituted by a relevant council, as at 1 September 2017, under the Local Government Act 1993 to advise on development applications or to determine development applications as a delegate of the council.

relevant council means—

the council of an area that is wholly within the Greater Sydney Region, and

the council of the City of Wollongong.
